Letter of Credit (L/C) is an universal tool for international business as such any body related to such business need to have clear idea about L/C, their terms, bindings, defects and risk. Garments business is totally dependent on L/C except few exception which is handled by Contract, but the contract also utilized for BB L/C. All people like Merchandiser, Commercial people, Account and Management People must have clear concept of LC so that it become easy for every body work as per terms and condition of L/C to  safe guard the business. Not understanding Terms and Risk of L/C may lead to a disaster for any company/industry.

Mr. Sajed Khan, Advisory Director & Consultant of OneWorld InfoTech (Datatex, Italy), is the lecturer of BIFT (BGMEA Institute of Fashion and Technology) where he delivers lecture regularly as guest speaker to the students of MBA, Hons, Diploma and Certificate Courses. The major areas of his subject are: Tools and Techniques for Merchandiser, Knit Garments Consumption and Costing, Woven Garments Consumption and Costing, Production Planning and Control, Preparation of Time & Action Calendar and Gantt Chart, Work Study and Time Study, Merchandising and the Role of Merchandiser in Garments Business, Supply Chain Management in Garments Business, Sample Management. He has a long track of service record in garments, he served in Opex Group as Executive Director and Head of the Merchandising Department of Levi's Account, at Sunman Group of Companies as Director Merchandising, Planning and Production, at Delta Group of Industries (where he used to look after the total operation of Knitting, Dyeing, Garments, Printing, Embroidery, Planning, Commercial and Finance) as Executive Director, at Harvest Rich as Production and Project Director, lastly he served at Doel Group as Director Marketing, Merchandising, Planning and Production.

Mr. Sajed Khan also delivers lecture at NIFT, CFTM and as Guest Speaker on various subjects of garments. He is also a Course Qualified in Pattern Construction and Pattern Grading, Garments Quality Control Management. Besides his professional career, he is an MBA From Trinity University, Delware, USA.
