Mehraj Hamid started his career in the Human Resource Department of British American Tobacco in the year 2000 as HR-Intern. Having served for first 6 years in different other renowned Multi-National Companies, i.e., Novartis (Bangladesh) Limited, Heidelbergcement Bangladesh Limited in different HR roles, he again joined in British American Tobacco Bangladesh as HR Manager and successfully executed many important & challenging HR local & global agendas. By 2008, He was made the Organization Development Manager for Rahimafrooz Group, which is one of the largest conglomerate private companies in country.

At his long 10 years of HR career, he formulated and implemented a lots of HR strategies, i.e., MT program, Succession Plan & Talent Review concepts, IDP process, Advanced Interviewing techniques based on Competency, Role Play & In-tray exercises, Competency Framework, RIFA analysis (Revenue Increment Growth Factor Analysis) for the Salary Review purpose (New Approach to Salary Review process created by him), Creation of HR Survey Calculator, Lead VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) approaches, Different type of Orientation process, formulated different types of IR strategies to maintain an easeful working environment both for Management & Non-Management people inside the plant, Lead the LTA (Long Term Agreement) or Charter of Demand for Unionized employees in different Organizations, Negotiations with Unions on different agendas, Successfully restructured various Employee Relations activities etc.

At the moment he is the Head of Human Resource & MIS In-charge of Partex Group.

Mehraj Hamid brings with him a rare blend of insights and experiences on Human Resources from different corporate. His uniqueness is also demonstrated by his work experiences in both Multinational and Bangladeshi companies. Recently he has been nominated one of the best HR practitioner (Transformation) in Asia Pacific region (Decided by Institute of Training & Development - ITD, Malaysia).

Mehraj Hamid did his MBA and BBA both are majored in Human Resources, also done his schooling & college from B.A.F. Shaheen, Tejgaon. He has attended many training programs both at home and abroad. He is visiting faculty of State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and University of Development Alternat.ive (UODA) and also guest speaker and lecturer for IBA, Dhaka University.
